Security Blankies Are
Plush Love
Plush
lovies provide the young child with the
security of a soft huggable friend. These blankies do become
"real" to their young owners, and their loss or disintegration
can be a traumatic event in a household. Sometimes after a
desperate search, they are found stuffed inside some very
strange places, but often they are lost for good.
Without this forever friend, some children have
trouble sleeping, become irritable, and in some cases appear to
actually be depressed. It's no wonder that parents search the
Internet, hoping to find a replacement for their child's lost
friend.
The child
doesn't care
if their favorite bunny or teddy bear blankie is falling apart or dirty,
but usually their parents do. You may be
