Full Body, Glove, and Hand Puppets
Stimulating
the mind with imaginative play is the purpose of a well made
hand puppet. Some of them are made with the head and hands only.
Others are called full body puppets, and look very much like a
regular stuffed animals, except there is a place for the hand to
operate the head, mouth and hands. There are even full body
puppets, called glove puppets, where all the fingers fit in to
provide for control of all four legs, as well as the head.
