Searching - CHOSUN YELLOW Lying Down DUCK

Our son carried “Duckie” everywhere he went from the age of 1 or 2 to 6, when Duckie was lost at a ranch of a friend’s while he was visiting there over the weekend. We have not told him, but apparently, the ranch dogs got to Duckie and tore him apart. We have told him that we are looking for a replacement, but that his original Duckie is gone for good. He is okay with that, but misses him horribly.

When I say that Duckie went everywhere, I mean it. When Jeb had ski lessons, Duckie stayed in his instructor’s parka. When we went to restaurants, Duckie came along. We went all over Europe with Duckie and he left him in a London hotel room. We had Duckie Fed Exed back to the U.S., immediately calling the hotel when we noticed his loss. To this day, Jeb occasionally cries himself to sleep about his missing Duckie. We have no intentions of lying to him and telling him that Duckie came back if we find one.

I purchased Duckie probably in the Spring of 2001 or 2002 at Target. It is manufactured by Chosun International. Duckie is bright yellow, very soft with orange chenille bill, tail and two feet. He lays on his tummy. The Easter Bunny put the yellow one in my son’s basket, and an identical pink one (that happens to be listed on your website as a missing toy) in our daughter’s basket. My son is currently sleeping with the pink one and I have promised him that I will have it dyed yellow if we cannot find another similar Duckie.

Searching - 90's IKEA White GOOSE (No Clothes)

Hi! I am looking for a plush duck (or some may say he's a goose) bought from IKEA. He is white with a long neck, an orange pointed beak, and dangly orange feet. He's reasonably big, maybe 10" to 12" tall.

He didn't come with the shorts; that's an addition made by my hubby (the precocious-looking child in the photo).

He was originally bought overseas 18-20 years ago at an IKEA in Saudi Arabia(IKEA is a chain store that sells Swedish home furnishings. It is also a brand because the toys they sell are manufactured by them, too.) I think the time is around there...he was my husband's favorite childhood toy.

I know this is a ridiculously impossible thing to find, and I greatly appreciate your time. I completely understand if you don't want to take this one on. But if you do, please know that my husband and I will be infinitely grateful. =)

Hi! I was searching for the same goose my sister bought for my daughter in Sweden 9 years ago.

She bought her 2 at IKEA over there, and they have been refurbished with new fur, but I wanted one to have on her shelf. My sister said before she moved back to the states in 2002 they stopped making the white goose. They had a black one for a short time - then no more. You might try contacting IKEA directly. Maybe they have one in a warehouse somewhere. Good luck! I can't find one as cute and plush as that one.

Searching - DAKIN Yellow Winged DUCK with ORANGE DANGLING FEET Used to QUACK

My son lost "duckie" on a flight and is just heartbroken because he lost his best friend. He cries daily and wants to go back in time so that duckie will be with him again or go to heaven so he can find duckie. He just turned 9, so this is not a passing fancy.

I got duckie as a shower gift in 1999. He is a small, Dakin duck -- maybe 4-6 inches tall, yellow with orange dangly legs and beak, no arms, just wings. It once had a tuft of white fluff on its head and quacked. It was not traditional plush fur, but more terry cloth or tightly cropped fur. It doesn't need to be in pristine condition, since duckie was well loved.

There are a million ducks in the world, but only the one in the million is going to put a smile on Dante's face.

FOUND - Carter's FLUFFY FRIENDS DUCK RATTLE Plastic Ring & Clip

Colette emailed us. Thank you so much for all your help in trying to locate a replacement for my sons lost toy. My sister in law has located a replacement of the exact same toy my son lost. She found it on eBay and my son should have it by tomorrow. Thanks again. I will keep watching your website to see if there is someone that I might be able to help. We're glad she was able to find it, and certainly appreciate all the extra pairs of eyes looking for all these lost lovies!

My 6 month old son has lost his favorite plush Carter's toy, and I am afraid that it has been discontinued. It was a stroller hang on a plush duckie that had a ring around the outside of it with to tiny colored rings around the big ring on each side of the duckie's feet.

In the middle was a clear ball that had beads in it that made a really neat rattling noise. You have a hippo on your Carter's toy pages that is the exact same concept as what I am trying to find. I would be interested in the ducky and maybe the hippo as a back up. My son has been cranky since he has lost it, and I think he really misses it. Please let me know if you can help. I have scoured the internet and called all the stores that carry Carter's toys and have had no luck, but have found hope with hitting upon your site.

Searching - DUCK DUCK Childhood Lovie

I have this stuffed animal duck duck from around the 1980s. My beloved stuffed duck is named duck duck and she's my oldest treasure. However, early this week she was taken apart by my puppies and I'm looking for a clone of her to use to put her back together.

She originally had winglike arms. She had a pink and white checkered bow that matched her pink and white checkered jumper/skirt thing.

She's my childhood in a nut shell and she deserves to be in her original fabric and stuff. I simply need another one and I have no idea where she came from, who made her, or anything. Can you help me?

Searching - Target BIG White DUCK with ORANGE BEAK and FEET

. I'm looking for a pink plush duck about 18 inches long, bought at Target in 2002. It has an orange beak and feet.

My grand daughter carried the duck for five years. She lost it at the airport beyond security. My daughter-in-law called me from the plane. Although I rushed over, security wouldn't let me in, and it was never returned to lost and found. It was much loved and did look bad.

I guess that I look like a terrorist, a sixtyish grandma who was a kindergarten teacher. I couldn't get in back to look.

Searching - Manhattan Toy SUE the DUCK Yellow BLANKIE Blue Satin Back

In 2005 my son received a satin/plush blankie/lovie as a gift. It looked like a duck, with light blue satin on one side and yellow plush on the other. It was made by Manhattan Toy, and he loved it for years.

In January, I left it in a cab in Manhattan. It hasn't turned up in lost and found. He asks for it all the time. If he sees a picture of New York City or a yellow taxi, he points to it and says "that's where my duck lovie is, can I have it?"

I need to find this for him. I've searched Manhattan Toys website and retailers and haven't found it. It would mean so much to me and my wife if we could replace it.

Searching - GUND? Squeaking YELLOW DUCK

I am looking for a small plush "duck" or platypus (it has two 'legs' and 'arms') that squeaks when squeezed. It has yellow 'fur' with a dark orange velvet beak. It is about 7" long and 7" wide.

I believe it was manufactured by Gund, but I have cut off the tag. It was purchased about 4 years ago.

FOUND - FRIENDZIES Yellow DUCK

Hi, I'm desperately searching a Friendzies stuffed yellow duck that came from a Marshall Fields store in 2004. It is medium sized with a bright yellow body and orange feet and beak. It came new with a Gingham bow. I think the 2003 model is the same, but with an orange bow.

FOUND - ANIMAL ADVENTURE PURPLE DUCK

Hello, I am the mother of a beautiful little girl who needs her best friend replaced. Her friend is a purple toy stuffed duck from Animal Adventure. I went to their website and was sad to find out that you can not simply order a replacement duck. They only sell to retailers. Please if anyone knows where I can find one.

You see her poor little duck is in bad shape. I actually tried to throw it away and had purchased a yellow duck. She threw it down and actually went and got her duck from the trash.

It has to be exactly the same. I would really appreciate any help. She has had the duck since birth.

I purchased it at Krogers, but have not seen one since 2005, when I bought the original.

Searching - Blue Jean Teddy DUCK / Blue & White Night Cap & Pocket

Hello! I am looking for a duckie that my grandson (5) has just worn to pieces. He has had Duckie since birth, and Duckie is like a 3rd child. When he is missing we all go into panic mode until he is found. Anyway, Duckie has been well loved and is literally worn down to the bare fiber.

Duckie is from the Blue Jean Teddy nursery collection and originally he came with a blue and white night cap and a pocket on his chest. Zach was born in Feb. 2002, so I assume that he is from that era of BJT, as my son and his wife bought him at Walmart brand new!

Now my grandson has asked me for a new "Duckie" for Christmas, and that is all he wants. So I am desperately searching for this duck. It would truly be a blessing if you have one, or at the very least could tell me where to find him.

Searching - SNUZZLES DUCK & BERT & ERNIE Sleeping Bag

I have moved this post back to the front, since more people are searching for this Snuzzles Duck.

Courtney is searching for the Snuzzles Duck that we found for Donna.

I am searching for what I believe was a Playskool ducky pillow type thing. It was yellow (pastel) plaid and had a flat orange silk beak and underside of wing. I believe it's from the 1980's.

I showed Donna some pictures of Snuzzles, and she thinks this is the right plaid. So, what she is looking for looks something like this duck.


And now Marie says she is looking for this Snuzzles duck, too!

I recently saw the posting for Donna of a Playskool Snuzzles Duck. I have also been looking for this for my daughter. She had it as a child and it is now threadbare. If anyone could help me find it I would appreciate the help.
