Searching - CARTER'S Fluffy Friends YELLOW ELEPHANT with BLUE EARS

I've been looking for a Carter's Fluffy Friends elephant. He's Yellow with blue ears. I've found an all blue one, but, I need a yellow and blue one.

It is my granddaughter's favorite animal. She sleeps with him and a puppy lovie. The elephant is the ultimate favorite. We just want to be sure when he falls apart we have another one to take it's place. He goes swimming with her whether he wants to or not....goes to the "potty"......falls in mud puddles....etc. He's her "booboo" buddy too. He seems to heal everything.

If you could please find me one, this Grandma will be absolutely grateful.

Searching - JELLY CAT KITTEN Blue STARRY NIGHTS HORSE - PONY - DONKEY

My son is now 5. We gave him Donkey the minute he was born (after spending ages looking for a special toy when I was pregnant), and he loved him immediately.

We did actually do the sensible thing and buy 2 spares, but they have now been lost. Rowan is still attached to Donkey, and takes him to bed at night, and looks for him in the day if he's feeling a bit unsure, tired, or unwell.

So firstly we'd love a spare for Ro, in case we lose Donkey.

Secondly, Our younger daughter Ellwyn idolises Ro, and when he puts Donkey down, she will often go and cuddle it the same way he does. We've tried similar versions of her own, but it's obviously not the same! We'd love to get her one of her own.

Lastly (and this may be a bit tragic!) my husband and I are now quite attached to Donkey! He's linked to a lot of lovely memories, and I look forward to the day we can pass him on to the grandchildren - so the thought of losing him is awful.

Searching - TARGET White DOG BLUE HALF FACE

Blue Puppy, a beloved member of our family, was lost while running errands. We have retraced our footsteps, called every store we visited, turned the house and car upside down, and we have not found him. He is an integral part of the family. My son has fallen asleep with him tucked under his arm since he was 18 months old.

I bought Blue Puppy from Target, sometime in the late spring/early summer of 2006. I looked for a duplicate a few months later, just to have an extra on hand since my son loved him so much. I called Target customer service when I couldn't find one in the store, and I was told that that particular puppy was no longer being produced.

Now we need one, and I still can't find one anywhere. I've looked on eBay and found one old auction, I've posted a want ad on Craigslist, asked around, and nobody has a Blue Puppy.

Please please help! I am in desperate need of a replacement! My son has been in tears. I desperately want to find a new Blue Puppy for him to love.

Searching - Long Legged WHITE RABBIT with BIG FEET Close Set Eyes

My daughter has not let go of her bunny in two years and we are always losing it...I've gone back and searched an entire zoo!

She cannot live without this bunny. When she sleeps she drapes it over her shoulder. During the day bunny goes everywhere with her. If she leaves it somewhere and can't find it, she has a meltdown without it and cannot go to sleep. If I could find a way to attach bunny to her permanently I would, but it would be better if I could find another one in case she loses this one and it can't be found.

After returning from the zoo, we found bunny didn't make the trek home, so I had to drive all the way back to the zoo and hunt everywhere for it. It was finally turned in by someone hours later, while she just screamed the whole time.

It's quite stressful actually to always keep track of this bunny. My son has a matching teddy which was given to him by a different person than the bunny to my daughter, and neither person has any idea where they purchased them. Bunny is now so dirty even going through the laundry doesn't make him look better, and he really needs replacing. If you have any idea how to get another one, I'd be very grateful.

Bunny is about a foot long from head to toe, not counting the ears.

Searching - Tree Top Toys KOALA BEAR with Black Eye Patch BLANKIE

We are searching for a replacement for "Blobbly". It is light blue, satin on 1 side and fleece on the other, and only about 12in x 12in. Blobbly has a flat koala head with a black patch over 1 eye at one corner and 2 little arms. It was originally purchased in 2004, I believe at Tree Top Toys.

He was given to my son, Ryan, as a baby present in the hospital when he was born. Ryan just adores him.

He used to take Blobbly everywhere, and he can't go to sleep unless he is snuggled with Blobbly. He used to lay the smooth satin side over his feet when he slept. As Blobbly got more and more frayed, he stopped taking him to daycare to snuggle with at naptime. He left him at home to help "keep him safe" so he would last longer.

He has been dealing with Blobbly getting older, until last night, when the stuffing fell out of its little paw. He began sobbing that Blobbly was falling apart, and soon he wasn't going to have him anymore.

Searching - MANHATTAN Gray WANDA ELEPHANT

I have received THREE requests for help finding this WANDA Elephant just recently, so it's time to ask for help on this one again.

There are several places online that have her in their catalog, but we have not been able to find anyone who actually has one in stock.

We live in an area where Manhattan toys are not for sale in stores, so we have no way of finding one for them from yard sales or thrift stores. Hopefully someone will have better luck than we are having.

So if you have a Wanda stuck back in the bottom of the toy box that your child does not care about, or can check out the local sales and thrift stores, please help these families.

I have been searching online for days trying to find the WANDA elephant from Manhattan Toy. My son has had one for 2 years and even with a reserve of two extras, we have lost the last one this past week.

I see another posting of the same elephant, which is incredible, and am hoping you can find just one more, any size will do. I am desperate.

Jared, my son who will turn 4 in September, cannot live without his small "Ellie". A friend of ours (who knew nothing about babies!) came to visit Jared when he was born and brought the elephant as a gift.

As soon as Jared was old enough to have a stuffed animal in his crib with him, Ellie has been there. Jared and Ellie are best friends- Jared cannot sleep without her. We only have ONE Ellie which means that she is filthy, worn and very loved. We don't let her leave the house unless we are going on an overnight or vacation. When never put her in checked luggage, she's always in my handbag.

Jared understands that Ellie is a one-of-a-kind. But we fear the day that something will happen to Ellie. She's as old as Jared is... almost 4, and her seams are starting to open up a bit.

We are hoping that somewhere we can find a few new small Wanda elephants so that heaven forbid anything happens to Jared's Ellie, we will be able 'replace' her.

Searching - TIDDLIWINKS Hand Size TAN BEAR Smooshie

Toby sleeps with his bear every night. He smooshes it in his right hand, puts his left thumb in his mouth then, and only then, is he ready to go to sleep.

I bought Bear before Toby was born. I found him on the clearance rack. There may have been other colors. Toby was five weeks early so bear looked huge next to him. Now Toby seems huge next to Bear.

Toby needs his Bear to go to sleep and I do not want to run the risk of losing bear in some type of "lovie accident."

Searching - MOTHERCARE Small BROWN BEAR with WHITE MUZZLE & Brown Nose

My daughter has a bear that we bought at Mothercare in the UK which she has suddenly decided she cannot live without, and it is filthy. I need a duplicate as she will FREAK if I wash this one and she can't hold him.

It's a very small brown bear with a white muzzle and brown nose. The mouth is stitched in the same brown as the nose, and it's a typical teddy mouth - like a semi-circle with a line coming up from the center. It was at one time VERY soft.

The serial number thingy is CIF A81108110, made in Sri Lanka.

Searching - Carter's KIDS PREFERRED BLUE ELEPHANT with PINK HEARTS on YELLOW PAWS

I am looking for a baby blue elephant made by Kids Preferred (a Carter's brand). He has yellow paws with pink hearts on the paws. I believe it was a Kohl's Cares for Kids animal. I received it in December, 2006 as a gift.

My son Nolan is so attached to him that he is beginning to fall apart and smell! I am looking for the same one, so I can replace him once he falls apart completely, as well as have a backup to avoid a catastrophe if Ellie becomes lost. My son is a great sleeper because of "Ellie", as he cannot wait to go in his crib to get him.

What It FEELS LIKE to SEARCH for a Lost Lovie & to HELP SOMEONE ELSE FIND THEIRS

I was teasing Liza about being such a busy lady while I was thanking her for spending so much time searching for other people's lost lovies, and this was her response:

I have been busy! It really has gotten to me - I mean, it's not only affected my daughter, but I'm just as saddened at losing her Poppy.

I can really feel for both parents and kids whose lives - although others can't see why - really DO get turned upside down when kids lose their loveys. It becomes days and then weeks of this all-consuming desire to both comfort your child, while at the same time beginning the daunting undertaking of finding a replacement.

Helping that man find a replacement for his daughter's bear yesterday made me feel so good. At least I helped one little girl - even if it wasn't my own. I figured, today, since I had a really light day here at work and some free time, I could at least take one day and devote it to looking for lost loveys. Some parents may not have the luxury of free hours to devote to searching.

Hopefully, I was able to help someone else. I hope I did. Again, it makes me feel a little better knowing that losing Poppy, as cheesy as it sounds, wasn't in vain since I ended up helping someone else.

Now back to searching for Poppy!!!!!!!

Searching - GUND Belle COW

My daughter received a GUND Belle Cow when she was born 4 years ago and since then she is literally addicted to this cow, she can't sleep without her, she takes her everywhere she goes. It takes us hours to convince her when is time to wash the cow...

About 1 year ago she lost the cow while we were shopping and it took us 4 hours to find the cow again and we were lucky ! We then decided that we really need to get a replacement Belle Cow as soon as possible, as if the "unthinkable" happens and our daughter loses the cow, she will literally be heartbroken.

I found out that this cow has been discountinued, but I am asking for your help in locating one of these cows, if possible. Maybe you can advise me where to ask for the Belle Cow. I looked everywhere on the Internet for 6 months, but no luck so far.

FOUND - Carter's Light Brown Teddy Bear Wearing PINK PJ's HEARTS

We were able to help Sarah find this bear, and now Cathy needs one. I have copied most of Sarah's description.

I am searching for a Carter's plush bear. It is a brown bear, but has a pink 'pj' on with a fake button on the top.

It has a series of 4 hearts on the left side of it's body (you can sort of see them in the picture). One is solid pink and the other 2 are just outlined in pink, and there is a very small gold heart (just outlined) as well.. It is not a rattle bear. Just stuffed with stuffing.

It also has a pink sewn fake button on the top, like pj's have. There are no slippers on the bear. It's just a pink PJ bear with the hearts on it - pretty plain and simple actually.

My daughter is very attached to hers, and I am afraid she will lose it and I want to have a backup for it. The style number is 48732. Any help will be appreciated.

FOUND - CARTER'S MY BEST FRIEND Blue Puppy Blankie KNOTTED CORNERS

Shanyn's very excited to report that the last eBay item link I sent her was the correct one. That just leaves Jenny, but I do not have any way to contact her. I'll leave this as Searching, but only for awhile. If I don't hear from Jenny soon I will mark this one as closed, so our helpful searchers won't be wasting their time.

I'm looking for a Carter's My Best Friend Puppy Rattle/Blanket. It's blue and says My Best Friend on the blanket part and also has knotted corners. I received it at a baby shower in Dec 2006.

My son loves it! He chews on the knotted corners and sleeps with it every night. I'm looking for a back-up, in case ours gets lost, & also to give him when I'm washing the first one (he takes it outside with him.. haha). I saw where someone found one on your site (3/28/08) and was hoping someone out there had another one! I've only found 1 on eBay so far.

'I am looking desperately for a Russ Berrie Pink Plush Rattle toy named Nizzy.

My two-year old is totally attached to her Nizzy. She chews on it when she's upset, before and during her naps, and at night. Therefore, it needs washed on temperature boost every-other day. It is rapidly deteriorating. It's also scary because we take it everywhere we go. We don't take it into businesses. I am a Pediatric Nurse and I take care of a special needs baby. The baby has a blue lamb. He sleeps with it and takes it with him everywhere he goes.

In case anyone else needs this TY monkey, his name is Digits and there were several on eBay not long ago.

This is Louis. When my autistic son went to boarding school, he was going through a rough time. Being away from home was not what he wanted.

My mother told him she would send him (from Venezuela) a roommate, a friend to go to school with, and I got this monkey from a Hallmark store here in NYC, and we pretended she sent it. She named him after my brother, who is the clown in the family.

The bad day and ended up pulling Louis' legs off. I doubt I can fix it. I would rather try to get him another one. Actually, I should get a couple of them, however I can't find him anywhere. He is around 18 inches long from head to toes and comes naked (no sweater) not just for my son, but for his now ex-roommate that feels very bad every time he sees him and just keeps apologizing.

We told him we'll send Louis to the shop to be fixed, so I need you to please keep and eye for me on any Hallmark store in your area and of course I will pay for Louis and shipping, BTW I don't have a serial # or anything because he was supposed to come from Venezuela, so I removed the tag before boxing it for him.

FOUND - DanDee Light BROWN RABBIT Holding BASKETBALL

They are looking for a light BROWN bunny - this was just the best I could do with editing the photo! Sorry!!

It all worked out for the best, though. The "white" bunny I found to fake the light brown one turned out to be the exact light brown one they needed! Grace emailed the seller from the link I sent her, and she found out the seller's photo was too light.

I am looking for a Dan Dee Collectors Choice Soft Expressions Plush Brown Bunny holdinga a Basketball. We lost our original one at Disneyland and fortunately for us, my niece had a friend with one. Hi! I am searching for a Carter's plush bear. It is a brown bear, but has a pink 'pj' on with a fake button on the top.

It has a series of 4 hearts on the left side of it's body (you can sort of see them in the picture). One is solid pink and the other 2 are just outlined in pink, and there is a very small gold heart (just outlined) as well.. It is not a rattle bear. Just stuffed with stuffing.

It also has a pink sewn fake button on the top, like pj's have. There are no slippers on the bear. It's just a pink PJ bear with the hearts on it - pretty plain and simple actually.

I have found a style # for the Bear! It's a Carters made in 2005, and the style # is 48732. Hope that helps!

The reason I am looking for it is because I can't find it at any retail store (Babies R Us, Target, Burlington Coat Factory). I have searched online for about 2 months now and can't track it anywhere. It was given to her as a gift at my baby shower a year ago January. She is EXTREMELY attached to this bear. It goes everywhere with us. She sleeps with it, eats with it....it provides great comfort for her. I am very afraid of losing it. That is why I want to get another one. So that I have 2 just in case.

My 3yr old has 3 of the same Carter's plush baby dolls that are falling apart and she can't live w/o. She has a pink bonnet on with a little bit of blonde hair poking out. She has the name "Cutie" on her heart. Her arms are pink striped and there is a little flower above the word Cutie.

FOUND - Carter's LITTLE PRINCESS PINK Bunny Blankie / GREEN SATIN

I am looking for a Carter's security blanket from the Fall of 2005. It is a pink bunny with green silk on the inside. The head has a rattle, and it says "Little Princess" on the bottom.

My 2 year old is very attached to the blanket since she was 6 months old, and they had stopped making it then. She won't sleep without it, and hers is getting a bit old.

Searching - BLUE Lion MY FIRST FRIEND Rattle

This appears to be the same lion in pink. She is looking for the BLUE ONE.

My son has had Mr. Lion since he was 2 months old. He received the stuffed animal in 2002 from a friend of mine- who cannot remember where she got it. He is now 5, and Mr. Lion is in really bad shape. He keeps asking me to go to the store and get another one. I have tried to explain to him that mommy cannot find another one. I have searched all over the internet and ebay with no luck.

He did have a beige body and a blue mane. He had a rattle inside and little beads. I would say he was a velour type material. My Mother in law has since sewn him a wrap for his body- which you will see in the picture- because all of his stuffing is falling out from the various holes in his body.

There was a tag on him that said something like My First or First with the letters ABC's. One of our readers has added the information that the tag on his tush does NOT say ABC. The top block is a heart, left bottom block says "my", and the bottom right block says "1st".

Another parent has added this information:My daughter has a pink cat with the same block patch on its bottom. The tag says, "2001 Commonwealth Toy & Novelty Co, Inc. New York, NY-Bunde, The Netherlands.

I think it was bought in Macy's, but I'm not sure. It would have been bought in Feb 2006. Hope this helps.

FOUND - Carter's? CUDDLE ME Pink RABBIT Plays Music

I LUV your site. It is a God Send. I really hope you can help. I need to have a back up of my daughter's (prob almost 4 yr old) pink stuffed bunny.

I THINK it's Carter's but not sure. It is velvety, has a pink bow around neck, has "Cuddle Me" embroidered on his chest with a li'l bunny and used to play music when you pulled the white plastic handle between his legs.

I am SO hoping you may have one or can point me in the right direction. We went into Manhattan last night to see the Little Mermaid on Broadway and she dropped it in the aisle. THANK GOD a lady chased us down and we got it back, but I am PETRIFIED she may loose it. She has had it since birth and cannot sleep if it is in washing machine or not in her arms.

Searching - Make Your Own BROWN & WHITE DOG Zipper in Back

I am looking for a replacement for my daughter's lovey. It is a soft stuffed brown and white puppy dog. It was bought for her at one of those local build your own bear (not Build-a-Bear) stores, so it is not a name brand, i.e. Carter's. There is not even a tag on him.

"Pepper" was purchased at the Aspen Bear Company in Midland, TX in December of 2005. They have since closed. He is smooth coated but very soft and floppy. He has a zipper in the back where the stuffing was put in.

This is the most important part of Pepper, as my daughter plays with it while she falls asleep. He is stuffed with all batting, no beads or beans (I'm not sure what they are called).

My daughter received this when she was 6 months old and has not slept a night without him since. We have already had to replace her "woobie" (blanket) and I'd like to have a puppy as similar as possible on hand in case an "emergency" replacement is needed for Pepper as well.

I am looking for a Carter's Very Hungry Caterpillar from about 2004. It's probably about 12-18 inches long when stretched out, and I think it may originally have had a bell or a squeaky in the first segment.

The picture is one from when he was much newer and more colorful! He is my son’s constant companion and is absolutely threadbare at this point.

I'm looking for a back-up lovey for my daughter. It's a Carter's Musical Crib Toy Bear, purchased at Toys R Us right before Easter 2007. The music box is in the body (not the head as many currently are.

The bear is brown plush with a mint green plush shirt, as well as mint green plush inside its ears and on the bottom of its paws.

It has a yellow satin ribbon around its neck and says "baby" on the front of its green shirt. On the tag it lists "Style #8540". It plays Rock-a-Bye Baby when you pull the string.
