Are YOU searching for a lost toy?

Check Our Own Plush Animals & Soft Dolls CATALOG, or CONTACT US

Maybe we've already FOUND one just like one you need. See what people are SEARCHING for. If you have one of these toys, or know where they can get one, please help these families out!

I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - INFORMATION about LARGE Vintage GUND Rabbit Doll

GUND vintage red polka dot rabbit wearing an apron
I have found a Gund Rabbit. She is obviously vintage, but I haven't been able to find out anything about her.

I'd like to know what her name is and how old she is, and anything else someone can tell me about her.

She is right at 25" tall. Her face is rubber. Her body is stuffed and covered with a red and white polka dot pattern. She also wears a white apron. She has a thatch of orange hair only on top,and the rest is white fur.

Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.
Donna

Brenda was nice enough to email me with this information about these types of GUND animals:

Gund made these vinyl faced characters mostly in the 1960s to compete with another company doing the same thing - Rushton.

I will email the information to Donna, but wanted it available here if anyone else is interested in these adorable animal dolls. I can certainly tell that they were imitating the Rushton style, based on the faces on Rushton Santa dolls I have seen from the 60's.
