I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - Vintage Squishy Rubber Baby Doll

I had a rubber baby doll that broke when I was 5, and I am looking everywhere. It was not poseable, and its eyes were worn away, so I don't remember what color they were. It was old and it had hair molded hair. Its mouth was closed, and it did not drink or wet. It was just an all rubber squishy baby doll. It's about 60 years old.

I really miss it!

I too am searching for the same doll. My mom purchased one each for my brother and me from a Wolworth's Five and Dime store in the late 50s. The doll was entirely squishy rubber that was filled with some type of stuffing and was all one piece with no moveable parts and was naked with no molded clothing. If I find one I'll contact you.
