I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - Bessie? Large Cow with High Heels!

About 1954 to 1962 there was a very large brown stuffed cow that stood, mooed when tipped, had a neck bell, shoes, and a nice tail. I am searching for a picture or an actual cow from this era. This cow stood about 1 foot high and about 2 foot long, with teats, high heel shoes, a big cow bell around her neck. I think it may have been called Bessie. When picked up and tipped, it mooed, and the fur on it felt real. Childhood memories are priceless
