Are YOU searching for a lost toy?

Check Our Own Plush Animals & Soft Dolls CATALOG, or CONTACT US

Maybe we've already FOUND one just like one you need. See what people are SEARCHING for. If you have one of these toys, or know where they can get one, please help these families out!

I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - MUGGSY - the Silver Poodle & Book

Jacki is bidding on the book now, thanks to the information that Douglas put in his comment, which allowed me to search accurately on eBay. But she still wants to find the dog, if at all possible.

So, we'll celebrate for the book, and continue to look for the dog. At least now, I know what the dog looks like!

Muggsy silver poodle
I am looking for a combo stuffed, lying down silver poodle, named Muggsy, that came with a story book about him. I would like to purchase either the book or dog or both.

It's just a childhood memory. The book told a story about the dog. It may have been late 50's or early 60's. I can't even tell you if it was a Golden Book. I have searched sites with Golden Books and haven't seen it. Thanks for keeping an eye out for it. Any ideas of other places, sites I can check?

If you can help Jacki find Muggsy the dog and/or the book about him, please Contact Us, including #110107-1 in the subject, or Comment Here.

I remember Muggsy. I'm pretty sure I had the toy when I was three, and retained the Golden Book about him until I was ten. The toy was silver curly furred, with a squeaky tail. In the book, he saves his owner, family, and other residents of the no-dog's allowed apartment building when his squeaker wakes the child during a fire. It may have been a TV show or cartoon as well. Don't have a lead to find it, but hope this will help.
