Searching - BONKO Plush PINK Kitty CAT with PURPLE STRIPES

My daughter lost her beloved pink cat in San Diego, California at Sea World on May 27,2007. Bonko is so important to my daughter just because it is her first best friend that has been with her since she was a newborn.

I think it was made by Russ, there are purple stripes on the body, and I bought it at Mervyns.

In the 4 years that he has been part of our family we have lost him I don't know how many times - he has been crushed by a car, and we lost it in Puerto Rico. But we always found him, no matter what. But not this time. But we have faith like always.

Most important, Bonko has been there in good times and bad times, comforting us all the way. It may sound crazy, but for us he is part of our family, and my daughter misses him a lot. "It's hard to sleep without him," she says.

We have since received more information about this pink striped cat from another mom who is looking for the same cat.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure who made kitty. The other lady that posted about Bonko thought it was maybe made by Russ, but I'm not sure. I did buy it at Mervyn's back in December 2002.

I don't have one that is great of just the kitty, but I remembered that I have a matching rattle. It's a smaller version of the same kitty and then you can get a pretty good idea of the size from the other pictures, I think.

I am still looking also...my poor little munchkin, she asked me if I thought maybe Santa would bring her the same kitty if she was really good. I wish there was a Mervyn's within a hundred miles of here, I would go look just for the heck of it, although I doubt they still carry them. Well, let me know if you need anything else.
