Maybe we've already FOUND one just like one you need. See what people are SEARCHING for. If you have one of these toys, or know where they can get one, please help these families out!

I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - 1980's GUND Plush Bumblebee - Revised

I'm looking for a plush bumblebee that my son accidentally left behind at the Jefferson Unitarian Universalist church nursery. Unfortunately this was about 15 years ago, and I think another child may have taken the bee. I've looked for years for another bee like this. It was a Gund toy and was black and yellow. I got it as a gift in 1981, when I was 16 years old.

It's an actual plush bumblebee. Probably about 8 to 12 inches long and plump. He had white wings, black and yellow stripes, and six legs. The legs were black, I think. He also had antennae and a smile. It was more like a cartoon bumble bee in appearance.

So the truth comes out--a 42 year old woman is looking for a plush bumblebee that she still misses!
