Are YOU searching for a lost toy?

Check Our Own Plush Animals & Soft Dolls CATALOG, or CONTACT US

Maybe we've already FOUND one just like one you need. See what people are SEARCHING for. If you have one of these toys, or know where they can get one, please help these families out!

I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - Small Brown Teddy Bear with 9/11 on T-shirt

This is such a wonderful service that you have thought up, and I am determined to find someone looking for a toy in my possession, but I am also desperate to find a lost teddy bear for my son. It would mean so much to him.

When he was five, I lost custody to his father's side of the family, because I was young and had few resources, and they were very wealthy, clever, and influential (grandpa was a high level federal executive, a bi-regional director of a DHS branch). My son was carrying a tiny 911 teddy with him the day he left, and seems to have lost it on the plane or soon thereafter. This was a powerful symbol to him, and we've all searched for it a long time, wondering if he actually took it, hoping it would just miraculously show up, making sure to try every last possibility to give him back what was lost.

Somebody gave him a tiny panda as a surrogate, and he tried to accept that, ending up with a huge collection of gifted pandas, of which no amount can replace 911 teddy, which he still occasionally talks about.

It is a little brown bear about 6 inches tall with a little t-shirt that says 911 (red, white and blue colors) It was given by the Santa Barbara Fire Dept., when he stepped on a hot piece of metal at a campground.

Thank you on behalf of my now teen-age son, Christian,

From his mom,

Windy

If you can help Windy find this special 9/11 teddy bear for her son, please Contact Us putting #121206 in the subject line, or Comment Here.
