I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching - You Are My Sunshine Windup Elephant

I am looking for a plush elephant that was purchased in the early 80's. When it was wound up the head went side to side and played the tune "You Are My Sunshine." A friend has one and read the tag to me. It reads Eden Toys, New York NY, Sewn in Columbia, #TA4.

This was my sister's favorite, favorite belonging when she was little. My parents divorced when she was five and managed to lose her elephant in the process, so I want to buy her one for her birthday.

Any help you could give me would be appreciated...
