Are YOU searching for a lost toy?

Check Our Own Plush Animals & Soft Dolls CATALOG, or CONTACT US

Maybe we've already FOUND one just like one you need. See what people are SEARCHING for. If you have one of these toys, or know where they can get one, please help these families out!

I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Plush Animals that Look REAL

Cocker Spaniel Plush Animal

What do you think? Do these stuffed animals look like the real animals to you?
We sell a lot of these high quality plush animals. Some of them, particularly the dogs, are bought because they look like someone's favorite pet.

Plush Tiger

The white dog, made by GUND, is named Dreyfus, and he is intentionally made NOT to look like a particular breed. He is an award winning toy and is very popular.

GUND Dreyfus White Plush Dog

Would you be more likely to want a stuffed animal that was a pretend creature, such as a dragon, a true replica of a real animal, or one that wasn't attempting to be a real breed, such as a teddy bear?

I have many many stuffed animals that I have gotten over the years...most of them look like stuffed animals. However, many moons ago in a galaxy far, far away (ok, I was 18, and it was my home town 30 miles away) I bought a tiger cub at a specialty novelty store. It is a sleeping cub, the maker is Avanti (Applause). At this point my poor cub has lost his 'real' look but he still is one of my favorites...and has not been passed onto my kids.

It's understandable that you would not pass such a beloved keepsake on to your children. He may not be your first pair of baby shoes, or a lock of baby hair, but he's just as much a part of your personal history as any of those things are.

Thanks for sharing, Dawn.
