I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Hey Diddle Diddle Doggy FOUND, But No Contact Info?!?!

I am looking to find a stuffed puppy that my son has loved even before he could crawl. Our dog got a hold of this puppy, and my son has been soo soo sad that his best friend is missing.

I don't have the heart to inform him, so I am trying to replace the puppy. I have bought him a Snoopy, but he asks everyday and every night if I found Puppy, who really is his best friend and someone he talks to all of the time.

Puppy is a small brown puppy dog, with a smiley face and a light blue spoon and yellow plate on the belly. I think that it used to play Hey Diddle Diddle when Puppy’s belly was pushed.


I've looked everywhere on the net that I could think of to find this stuffed puppy dog, with no luck. Are YOU the one who can help out this parent? Please COMMENT HERE, as this was an Anonymous comment on an old post that I have copied over to the front page.

I appreciate the compliment on our blog, Yash. You can ask about fixing the electronic toys if you want to, but I sure won't be able to help LOL!

Maybe some of our readers can suggest another blog that might be more helpful, or maybe they will be able to offer you some suggestions, so ASK AWAY!!

That's it, Tami, but the Anonymous blogger never did email me, so I can't get hold of them. What a shame!

I'm sorry you wasted your time on this one. I probably should have pulled the post a long time ago, but the comment about needing help on electronic toys was there, so I didn't.

If this were a recent request, that might not be so bad an idea, Tami. But this has been on here since May of 2005, and they never came back to look again.

I think I'll just leave this post, but take Searching off of the title. I don't want this to happen again.
