Are YOU searching for a lost toy?

Check Our Own Plush Animals & Soft Dolls CATALOG, or CONTACT US

Maybe we've already FOUND one just like one you need. See what people are SEARCHING for. If you have one of these toys, or know where they can get one, please help these families out!

I read each request, do the initial search, request additional information and photos, and edit most of the photos. Often I do find the lovie, so those requests never show up on this blog. I answer each comment or email that comes in about a posted request, act as a go-between to link people who can help with those who need help, and add new requests as soon as I can. Due to health problems I got way behind posting requests, so now I am trying to stay current with requests and gradually catch up on the older requests.

I can't adequately thank all of you who search for all these lovies I do post about. I get the ball rolling, but YOU are the ones who make this site work!!

Searching 10 Years - Burned Yellow Musical Pony

Ruth Ann salvaged one rather fuzzy picture where he is off to the side amongst other stuff animals.

I enhanced the pony with photo editing software, so this is only an attempt to show what he looked like.

Yellow pony burned in a fire
Hello Dirty Butter,

I am desperately searching for a childhood stuffed toy. It is a wind-up musical baby toy, and I *think* it is from Gund, but that is only a vague memory.

He was a yellow pony with a white under-belly and pinkish feet/snout. He had black eyes (not of cloth material) and his nostrils were just yarn stitched on. He had a yarn like tail and yarn mane as well. The small silver wind up mechanism was on his side, and it played "It's a Small Small World".

I was born in 1983 and always remember having the toy. I would assume then it is from the late 70's or early 80's, but it may be earlier (handed down from a relative). It was destroyed in a fire in 1997, and I've been looking since the day of the fire. In 2007, that will be 10 years of desperate searching and late nights on the internet.

Can you help me please? It is more important than words can express that I find this.

If you can help Ruth Ann find this long lost musical pony that means so much to her, please Contact Us, including #072706 in the subject, or Comment Here.

Maybe you don't have one, but you can help us identify the brand or the name of the toy. Any information would be so helpful to her.

Maybe the only help you can give her is to put a post on your blog, linking to this one, so more people will read her request.

Dirty Butter:

I'm visiting via Blog Advance, which I rarely use because the rotation is so slow. What's your experience?

Thanks for stopping by, Donald. I always surf with multiple tabs with FireFox, so I don't notice how slow it might be.

I'm stopping by via Blogazoo today! Actually, I was referring to how slow the rotation of blogs is over at Blog Advance. I get one hit per week at that exchange, it seems like. Blogazoo's nice, though, don't you think?

Yes, Donald, I'll agree that the hits are slow (not THAT slow, though!)from Blog Advance during the week, but the weekends make up for it. They give 1.5 to 1 surf credits on weekends, so I build up credits during the week, and folks see our blogs on the weekends when I'm not surfing. I'm happy with that. BA has great CS, too, and the folks on the forum are very helpful.

I like BlogaZoo, too, and I agree, as I do get LOTS of hits consistently from them all the time.

I know almost exactly what kind of horse you're talking about. I too had one of those when I was a child, and it helped me fall asleep every night. I'm not quite sure of the make, it didnt look like alot of GUND toys, but I lost mine as well and have been looking for one. Good luck with your search!
